National PSAP (9-1-1) response and dispatch times

Request #6912

Some municipalities make their response time data easily accessible. Others only make the data available upon request. It would be helpful to have a single, national view of 9-1-1 response times. As a bonus, it would be *amazing* if calls to each PSAP were also categorized by emergency type: Fire, Medical, etc. Such data can then be overlayed with census information, demographic shifts, crime, etc.

I have no idea what agency has the power to pull this together, mainly because 911 funding is handled at the state and municipal level.

Data suggestion sent to DOT point of contact. A few datasets that are helpful and in-line with this, but do not contain all of the suggested information: http://catalog.data.gov/dataset/fcc-master-psap-registry, http://catalog.data.gov/dataset/national-9-1-1-profile-database-national-9-1-1-profile-database, http://catalog.data.gov/dataset/medicare-data-to-calculate-your-primary-service-areas
