2016 International Space Apps Challenge

The 2016 International Space Apps Challenge, scheduled for April 22-24, is NASA’s open innovation incubator and one of the largest hackathons in the world. In 2015, Space Apps attracted 13,737 registered participants, including 1,296 virtual participants, from 133 locations in 62 countries. Over a 48-hour period, global citizens work on challenges wrapped around NASA data, as well as data from collaborating agencies. This year, NASA is hosting challenges in six categories: Aeronautics, Earth, International Space Station, Journey to Mars, Solar System and Beyond, and Technology.
