Performance Based Fuding Outcomes - Public Four-Year Institutions
I am conducting a study on performance based funding in public four-year institutions and was wondering if there is a data source available that illustrates/outlines how each state performed on their formulas' metrics? I am hoping to tap into the national database where these results are stored to see how each state performed since implementation in each state.
Dept. of Ed replied:
Thank you for contacting the United States Department of Education in regard to identifying an education data source. The Department's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing education-related data in the U.S. and abroad. The NCES Website puts that data at your fingertips. If you are unable to find the data you are looking for on their webpage, you may contact them directly to request further guidance. Their contact information can be found here: https://nces.ed.gov/help/webmail/. Additionally, more Department research, evaluation and statistical information can be located on our Research and Statistics page.
Once again, thank you for contacting the United States Department of Education. If we can provide further assistance, please do not hesitate to write us again.
